A couple or family is a system, I use Systems Theory to help describe roles and interactions. I also teach a whole new language of communication through Gestalt or play therapy. CBT is also effective to rewire thoughts about life together. .

RELEASING TRAUMA AND STRESS

Our modern life demands that we cover the physical effects of trauma (crime, accidents, loss) so Post Traumatic Stress Disorder can take years to surface, I work with a client to tell the story, process emotions of fear or loss, find a level of acceptance and to break chains that hold back their full potential.

COGNITIVE

Our thoughts drive emotions and then actions. CBT is an effective (and popular) method helps a client to changing their thought patterns to bring lasting change to choices, actions and attitudes. Train in CBT in just 6 sessions.

BOOSTING SELF ESTEEM

The value we give ourselves is so important in how we treat ourselves and others. Good self esteem is a big part of our choices. Solution Focused Therapy gets us looking at ways forward in this important area within ourselves.
